Our #1 priority is your Trust– before, during and after your time in Alaska
We’ve spent decades nurturing trust with the animals and humans we meet here. Alaska is a community of natives — elder Alaskan tribes, Russians, lower 48 “migrants” who want a better life, and visitors who want inspiration, perspectives and terrific memories.
We believe our main priorities are the same as yours:
1) Fantastic wildlife encounters — we monitor wildlife sightings and locations in the spring and all summer long with local residents, pilots, rangers, and lodge owners
2) Great photo opps– we are the only multi-day wildlife photo tours based on the Kenai Peninsula, closest to the best wildlife, Lake Clark, Katmai, and where the other tours come for the day. (No need to keep commuting back and forth to Anchorage — more morning & evening light to photograph.)
3) Relaxed, personal and flexible to requests — our relaxed pace, natural history and photography tips, online newsletters, and Alaska knowledge is second to none. We’ve done our homework for decades and will help you enjoy Alaska’s wildlife, improve your photo skills, and come home with terrific photos!
4) Flexibility — When the s*** hits the fan, if it’s bad weather, delayed salmon runs, traffic backed up or accidents (think July 4th!), sparse or no bears in popular spots, we are not locked into one lodge, vendor or flight company. We tap other sources/providers and find the wildlife or work around the weather.
No matter how glitzy their website or ads are. other photo tours don’t have the 40+ years of connections, alternate options, natural history and pro photography experience we do.
Compare our prices to any other tour of same length of time and similar locations/animals. You can do more with us for less than you can as a solo traveler, plus have an expert pro photographer at your side the whole time.
Your time is valuable and will be maximized as much as possible in the field, with time to relax in camp, eat delicious meals and sleep comfortably. All logistics are coordinated, with backup options and alternate locations in case of bad weather.
